　　Today I am very glad here to share my opinionsabout the protection of environment.

　　With the development ofscience and technology ,different kinds of pollution has been produced andcaused global concern recently.

　　As we know, people have beenliving on the earth for thousands of years, human activity damaged natural environment, such as excessive abuse of natural resources ,the sewage dischargedfrom factories ,the animal slaughter ,kinds of chemical fertilizers andgreen-house effect. All that is mentioned above has a bad impact on the eco-system .Now, many animals aredying out. We are suffering from unhealthy food and water, we are faced withharmful rays and global warming. It was ourselves who had made a series oftroubles. As you can see, we are the final victim.

　　Above all, if we human beings cannot recognize theseserious problems and try our best to solve them soon, we would finally lose theenvironment suitable for us to live. So, it is our duty to protect theenvironment ,but what should we do to protect it?

　　In my opinion, the first and important thing is tounite all forces ,that is to say---gather all hearts together. Next we shouldprotect and plant more trees, which can dispose of the dust in the air. As forfamilies, it is effective to ride bicycles rather than drive cars. Don’t litteranywhere as you like. In addition, sorting and recycling the rubbish also playan essential role in the protection of our earth. We’d better call on everyone aroundus to lead a low-carbon life, as it may make a difference to the environment.

　　Thus, it’s high time that we did something to improveour surroundings. Everybody should raise the awareness to protect our motherearth. Let’s appeal to more people to join us.

　　All in all ,there’s no doubt that keeping the balanceof human and nature ,we will benefit a lot.

　　This August I went to a two-week long English camp which was held by English Beacon in Yantai city, Shandong Province. There were over a hundred middle school students from all over the country and thirty experts in English teaching participating in this exciting camp. While we were there, it was required that we speak only English to our teachers and with each other. There were many activities which were funny and helped us to strengthen our oral English skills, such as, the Second Annual National Debate for Middle School Students, the Third National English Speech Competition for Middle School Students and English parties. We also visited many places of interest. Learning English was exciting and the teachers were very friendly and helpful. This camp was a real life-changing experience that I will never forget.

　　今年八月，我參加了由《英語輔導報》在山東煙臺舉辦的為期兩周的英語夏令營活動。來自全國各地的一百多名中學生和三十名英語教育專家參加了此次活動，在那兒我們只能用英語交流。此次夏令營舉辦了許多有趣且提高口語能力的.活動，比如第二后全國中學生辯論賽，第三后全國中學生英語演講賽和英語晚會。我們還參觀了許多名勝。學英語很有趣，老師對我們也很和藹，給了我們許多幫助。這次夏令營真實的生活體驗令我永遠難忘。

　　This August, I took part in an English summer camp which was held in the city of Yantai, Shandong Province. More than one hundred middle school students from all over the country and over thirty experts in English teaching took part in the camp, too. Every member should communicate with each other in English. All of us were very happy and excited in the camp. In addition, many activities were held in the camp such as, the Second Annual National Debate for Middle School Students and the Third National English Speech Competition for Middle School Students. We visited many places of interest. But what impressed us most was the English party. Some were singing in English and others were dancing. We learnt a great deal, including how to study English, communicate with each other and help other people. I want to take part in it next year.

　　今年八月，我參加了在山東省煙臺市舉行的英語夏令營活動。來自全國各地一百多名中學生和三十多名英語教育專家參加了這次活動。每個營員都必須用英語彼此交流，我們所有的人都很高興、激動。另外，夏令營也舉辦了許多活動，例如第二后全國中學生辯論會和第三后中學生英語講演比賽。我們還參觀了許多名勝。但是最令我們難忘的是英語晚會，一些同學唱英文歌曲，另外一些人跳舞。我們都學到了不少知識，包括怎樣學習英語、與他人交流和幫助他人。明年我還會參加的。

　　我真的不敢再想象下去、再寫下去了，這真的太可怕了。但是如今又有多少的人是真真正正地在環保呢?你們看，每個垃圾桶旁都有數不勝數的垃圾。盡管這些垃圾離垃圾桶只有一步之遙，但是四周圍來來往往的人沒有一個人會將這些垃圾投入垃圾桶內，大家對它都不約而同的做到視而不見;有多少棵樹在被砍伐，送往工廠，做成一次性筷子，給那些貪圖方便的人使用，做成火柴，做成紙巾……然后到市集上去賣。我想如果這些物品會說話，他們一定會說這么一句話:“醒醒吧!不要再破壞環境了，不要再破壞自己的家園了，你們以后一定會追悔莫及的。難道你們不想要家了嗎?不想要地球了嗎?如果你還想要這些東西的話，那就請你們開始保護我們，開始保護你們身邊的點點滴滴吧!”

　　現在大家也許有點后悔了吧!也許在想各種各樣的.方法來挽救這個世界，來挽救我們的家園吧!其實很簡單，我們只需從身邊的小事做起。看到有廢紙掉在地上就彎腰將它撿起;看到小樹苗倒了，就幾個小伙伴合力，一起將它扶正，一起幫助它成長;保護野生動物，不再貪圖它們那鮮美的肉，將它們殘忍地剝皮吃肉;開一次小小的演講會，呼吁人們保護環境，保護身邊的人和物。一點一滴，從小事做起，從身邊做起，為地球而努力。
