　　Environmental problems are becoming more and more serious all over the world. With the development of industry and agriculture, cars make great noises and give off poisonous gas. Trees on the hills have been cut down,and waste water is being poured continuously into rivers. Furthermore,wherever we go today, we can find rubbish carelessly disposed. The whole ecological balance of the earth is changing. Massive destruction of environment has brought about negative effects and even poses a great threat to man's existence.

　　環境問題越來越嚴重的世界各地。隨著工農業的發展，汽車制造噪音、排放毒氣。山上的'樹木被砍伐，污水不斷被排入河流。此外，今天我們去哪里，我們可以找到垃圾處理。整個地球的生態平衡正在改變。環境的巨大破壞已帶來負面影響，甚至對人類生存帶來巨大的威脅。

　　We must face the situation that exists and take actions to solve our environmental problems. For instance, new laws must be passed to place strict control over industrial pollution, the pub!ic must receive the education about the hazard of pollution and so on. We hope that all these measures will be effective and bring back a healthful environment.

　　我們必須面對現實，采取行動解決環境問題的現狀。例如，必須通過新的法律嚴格控制工業污染，酒吧!必須接受污染危害的教育等。我們希望這些措施的有效實施能帶給我們一個健康的環境。

　　The world we live in is becoming more and more intolerable because of environmental destruction. Bird flu and Sars are two typical examples that environmental destruction may threaten our life. Besides, forest destruction , water and air pollution result in decrease of planting land and unpleasant weather.

　　Serious as the problem seems, we can come up with some measures to deal with it. First of all, the authorities should adopt the policy of "sustainable development", and laws concerning environmental protection should be put into effect and enforced strictly just as our government has been doing.

　　What' s more, every citizen should realize the seriousness of the problem and make concerted efforts to protect our environment. In addition, planting trees helps improve and beautify the environment.

　　我們生活的世界正變得越來越難以忍受,因為對環境的破壞. 禽流感和SARS的是兩個典型的例子,對環境的破壞,可能危及自己的生命. 此外,森林破壞,水和空氣污染導致減少種植業土地及不愉快的'天氣.

　　嚴重的問題,看來,我們可以得出一些措施來對付它. 首先,當局應該采取的政策是"可持續發展" , 法律和有關環保工作應該要付諸實施,執法不嚴,正如我國政府一直在做的事.

　　何況, 每個公民都應該明白問題的嚴重性,并共同努力,為保護我們的環境. 此外,植樹有利于改善和美化環境.
