  一、指導思想

  以“英語課程標準”為宗旨,適應新課程改革的需要,面向全體學生,提高學生的人文素養,增強實踐能力和創新精神。正確把握英語學科特點,積極倡導合作探究的學習方式。培養學生積極地情感態度和正確的人生價值觀,提高學生綜合素質為學生全面發展和終身發展奠定基礎。

  二、教學目的與要求

  要求學生有較明確的英語學習動機和積極主動的學習態度。能聽懂教師對有關熟悉話題的陳述并能參與討論。能讀供七至八年級學生閱讀的簡單讀物和報紙雜志,克服生詞障礙,理解大意。能根據閱讀目的運用適當的閱讀策略。能與他人合作,解決問題并報告結果,共同完成學習任務。能在學習中互相幫助,克服困難。能合理計劃和安排學習任務,積極探索適合自己的學習方法。在學習和日常交際中能注意到中外文化的差異。

  三.教材簡要分析

  八年級英語下冊共十個單元,每單元設計一個話題,并以此為中心,通過語言結構、功能項目為主線展開,采用任務型語言教學方式,以循序漸進的生活化的學習程序引導學生學會運用英語,有目的地做事。新教材中設計了許多活動,如填寫問卷、調查、訪談、書信、郵件往來等,使學生在語言學習中更好地體驗、實踐、參與、合作與交流,同時增加了學生在課堂上的互動,為任務型教學創造了條件。同一話題隨著學習的深入,內容不斷充實,通過“滾動”呈現學習,不斷深化。如提建議話題,在七年級出現,在本教材Unit8也“滾動”呈現,支持話題的“任務”、“活動”也不斷“升級”,伴隨語言學習不斷從“低級”走向“高級”,貫穿于教材始終。此外,教材中每個單元設計的Pair work、Group work、Survey及Game為課堂活動提供了豐富的資源。

  每個單元以一個話題為中心,分設Section A,Section B和Self check三個部分,自成一體,又相互照應:Section A是單元基本語言內容的呈現,Section B是語言知識的擴展、深化與運用,是Section A的延伸。Section A與Section B是實現單元話題的主要載體。兩部分在教材中都有明確的要求。Self check是將單元基礎詞匯、詞語用法、語言運用等進行提煉,供學生了解、檢查對本單元所學內容的掌握情況。

  本冊主要內容是健康與急救、could、should的用法、時間狀語從句、用過去式學會講故事、復習鞏固比較級和最高級、和現在完成時態。

  四、教學手段和措施。

 。ㄒ唬、使學生明白學習目的。學生是學習的主體,老師不能代替學生讀書,代替學生感知,代替學生觀察、分析、思考,代替學生明白任何一個道理和掌握任何一條規律。要學好英語,首先要使學生認識到學這一語言的目的和意義。因此我結合本地區學生的實際情況,通讀和節選教材,圍繞著最簡單、最基本、最常用的英語詞匯、句型、交際會話等進行教學,使學生對英語產生興趣,形成學習動機。

  一、教學設計思路、指導依據說明:

  筆者教學的對象是初二學生(以中等生為主),他們學習英語有較強的記憶力和模仿能力,有較強的求知欲和表現欲,但部分學生存在不自信,羞于表現等思想顧慮,但又希望能得到他人的肯定。因此筆者在教學活動中盡量讓這部分學生參與到活動中來,有更多的機會來說英語,減少他們的恐懼感;有一些學習困難生由于基礎薄弱,缺少豐富的語言基礎,對某些任務的完成有一定的難度,教師可采取小組獎勵的辦法,通過學生間的合作學習,促進小組成員之間的互幫互學,鼓勵小組中的優秀成員主動幫助學習困難生,培養學生的團隊意識。提高他們綜合運用語言的能力,讓他們都能體驗到成功的喜悅,使各層次的學生都有所收獲。

  四、教學目標

  (1)語言知識目標:引導學生掌握本單元相關的詞匯和句型。

  (2)語言技能目標:能用所學的語言項目給對方提出建議和意見。

  (3)情感態度目標:了解送禮的禮儀,培養學生的愛心和感恩之心。

  step 1. lead-in &; presentation

  教師用多媒體播放一些精美的禮品的圖片,提問how do you feel when you see the presents?激發學生的想象,然后讓學生用形容詞表達自己的感受。男女生比賽,看哪組學生說得多,說得好。

  【設計說明】

  使用多媒體課件導入直觀、生動,能吸引學生的注意力,有助于激發他們的學習興趣。男女生比賽,可以激發他們的競爭意識。

  step 2. new words learning

  呈現圍巾、詞典、花、日歷、手表、數碼相機、網球等圖片,講授新單詞,訓練學生的拼寫能力。將這些名詞寫在黑板的左邊,為下面的句型操練做準備。

  【設計說明】

  此環節的設計目的有兩個:一是讓學生盡快進入學習狀態,同時通過他們熟悉的內容引出新單詞:二是通過單詞學習活動,鞏固了學生對單詞的拼寫。

  step3. practice

  教師用課件呈現以下對話:

  a: what should i get ... for his/ her birthday?

  b: how / what about ... ?

  a: that’s too expensive/ personal.

  b: why not / why don’t you get her a scarf?

  b: good idea!/ great!/ ok…

  教師先示范這個對話,之后分組( 4--6人為一組)進行滾雪球式的操練,句子說得越多越好,速度越塊越好。然后以小組為單位進行句子的競賽。最后,教師讓學生總結提建議和評論的.表達。教師用簡短的語言小結,將重點句型板書。

  【設計說明】

  由單詞學習向句型操練過渡,同時可以訓練學生的發散思維和創新意識。小組合作學習可以培養學生的合作精神,比賽的方式可以使課堂充滿和諧愉悅的氣氛,提高學習效率。

  step 5. discussion

  【設計說明】

  本活動屬于深層思維訓練,旨在通過辯論培養學生的思辨能力和運用英語表達的能力。把課堂教學過程轉化為學生主動參與教學的過程。

  step 6. writing

  要求學生選出自己曾經收到的禮物中自己最喜歡的,寫一篇小短文,介紹誰送你的,你何時收到的禮物,為何喜歡此禮物等。

  【設計說明】

  學生通過本節課的學習獲得了語言儲備,為語言的輸出做好了鋪墊。此環節設計的目的是讓學生在說的基礎上,能夠通過書面表達進一步鞏固所學的內容。同時讓他們進一步加深對親情和友情的理解,培養學生的感恩之心。

  九、教學反思

  筆者認為,本節課的成功之處有以下幾點:

  1、在教學過程中,筆者努力貫徹以學生為主體的教學新理念,注意調動學生的學習積極性和主動參與的熱情,設計的活動符合學生的年齡特點,鼓勵和引導學生積極發言。力求使各個活動環環相扣,以符合學生的思維特點和認知水平。

  2、筆者創設了各種問題情境,吸引學生的注意力,營造寬松,愉悅的學習氣氛。在提建議這一環節,利用填表格,設置一些問題啟發學生思考、討論,有效地突破教學難點。

  3、師生、生生互動性強,活動形式多樣化,有個人活動、同伴活動和小組活動。對于學生完成任務的情況給予適當的反饋與評價。

  聽錄音或使用媒體資料學習第113課第一部分,最好不看書?商釂枌W生幾個問題:

  What’s in the fridge? Is there any fish in the fridge? Are there any chicken legs in the fridge?

  跟讀直至讀熟。然后兩人讀對話。

  1. 讓同學們也把值日生做Duty report的話題練習一遍。

  Step 1 Revision

  聽錄音并跟讀第116課第一部分和第二部分。讓幾個同學在全班示范,看誰模仿的最好?山o一些生詞讓學生試著讀一讀,看看他們本課語音掌握的如何。

  值日生Duty Report。

  讓值日生事先準備一有關超市的短文,在Duty時在全班講,為新課做好鋪墊。

  Step 2 Presentation

  引出今日新單詞:all day The shopkeepers in this shop work hard all day.

  This shop sells a lot of things.

  open: not close

  This supermarket is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

  This shop is open at 9 a.m. and is closed at 9 p.m.

  market On Saturdays and Sundays the markets are full ofpeople.

  教單詞過程中,盡量把課文中的句子重復幾遍。為下一步聽課文做好鋪墊。

  Step 3 Read and answer

  1. 老師可先復述課文,讓學生們了解main ideas,然后讓學生們聽錄音,提醒他們不看書。

  2.也可讓學生們先看書一分鐘,然后聽錄音。

  3.聽完第一遍時,可讓學生先做幾道判斷題,一下幾題供參考。

  4.聽第二遍,回答書上的問題。

  5.聽第三遍,復述,可把書上問題的答案連起來,成為一篇復述的短文。

  6.編對話。

  給出一情景:同學A,B去逛超市,想買些小禮品送給美國的筆友。

  7.讀課文。

  8.談談自家附近的超市或農貿市場(Free Market),并寫成書面的文字。

  老師可根據班上同學的水平,酌情增減內容。

  Step 4 Read and write

  1.學習116第四部分。

  2.新單詞:dollar one dollar is equal about 8.3 yuan.

  讓值日生Duty Report加上買東西的內容。 如句型:I want to buy a bag of milk, some bread and two eggs for my tomorrow’s breakfast on my way home. My mother want to buy four potatoes, two kilos of fish, tow kilos of apples, 1 kilo of chicken legs.

  讓值日生隨意拿起某同學的物品,問:How much is your pen, please? 答:Maybe it’s … 問:How much are two pencils, please? 答:They’re …

  Step 2 Presentation

  引出今日新課:How much is …, please? How much are …, please? 教問價錢:how much … 教句型:How much is the…,please? How much are the …., please?

  老師可問一些同學們知道價錢的物品。如:方便面,袋牛奶,可樂等。練習回答:It’s …yuan a bag / a bottle / kilo. They are …yuan a kilo.

  將書上的114課第一部分的圖用投影儀打出,就圖提問。練習課文的第一部分和第二部分?刹扇∪嗷卮,小組回答,同桌回答等形式。練熟為止。

  Step 3 practice

  練習1:

  隨意取些同學們書桌上的物品放在講臺上,提問同學。

  可參考以下對話:

  A: This is a shop near our school. What things does the shop sell?

  B: Let me see. It sells pens, pencils, pencil-boxes, pencil-sharpeners…

  A: Does it sell bread / cakes / bottles milk…in the shop?

  B: Yes, it does. / No, it doesn’t.

  A: How much is it / are they? Do you know?

  教單詞:tomato, onion, carrot

  練習2:

  在投影片上畫一商店,列出一張價目表。

  可參考以下對話:

  A: Which shop sells bread / milk / cakes / tomatoes / onion / carrot?

  B: The shop next to our school.

  A: Would you like to go with me?

  B: Certainly.

  教單詞:cheap, expensive,

  cheap: not expensive expensive: not cheap

  練習3:

  In the shop

  A: Do you have tomatoes here?

  B: Yes, we do.

  A: How much are they?

  B: They are ten yuan a kilo.

  A: They are too expensive. What about that shop? Let’s have a look.

  A: OK.

  In the another shop

  A: I want to buy some tomatoes. How much are they?

  B: They are five yuan a kilo. How many do you want?

  A: They are cheap. I want three.

  B: Here you are.

  A: Here is the money. Bye!

  B: Bye!

  Step 4 Read and practice

  利用以上的所有道具練習第三部分對話。注意:分別用上:How much is it? How much are they?

  Step 5 Consolidation

  學生們可自由編對話。但老師要控制?山o幫助學生們設計幾個情景。(參看教參P124)
