2b.Listen again. Why does Peter’s father say “no”? Draw lines to the reasons in the chart in 2a. Look through the chart.

Game: T prepares some things and writes the names of them on the word card . Then have the Ss choose one of the word cards and the things to make polite requests or ask for a permission.(the words are must be the things in the classroom and the Ss always use them.) Choose the words cards and act out the dialogues.

教學背景分析
1.教材分析
本單元圍繞“Chores”開展教學活動,學習如何用情態動詞 could禮貌地提出請求,如何禮貌地請求允許自己做某事,并做出得體的回答。Section A主要學習運用句型“Could you please ...?”“Could I please...?”談論如何委婉地提出請求或征求別人的許可及禮貌的應答語;Section B 主要通過聽力的練習和大課文的學習談論對家務的看法和父母和孩子之間應該分擔家務。
2.學情分析
本課話題來自學生的生活經歷,學生在七年級已經學習了許多動詞短語,為表達提供了語言基礎,此外,學生已初步掌握了用祈使句和Can you…?/Can I…? 提出請求和建議, 為本課的學習打下了鋪墊。活動設計的話題從談論家務---對家務的看法---父母和孩子之間承擔的家務---- 社交、休閑活動等生活的各個方面,各任務層層遞進,與學生的生活緊密相連,又是學生饒有興趣的內容,為表達提供了真實的材料,使得學生在各個活動中想說、有話說,使活動參與的范圍廣,達到任務的真實性,有效性。在學習中學生受到愛的教育,學會愛父母,愛家庭,愛勞動,學會如何與人交往,學會表達自己對事情的看法,使他們的個性得到張揚。
